This pillow is worth every penny. With my fibromyalgia it gets a lot of use. It has a wonderful deep massage and comfortable heat. Unlike the full chair models I can position it on any sore muscle and it's easy to travel with.
I wish the heads rotated in the opposite as I like an upward motion but I just flip it over to solve that small problem. I like the soft cover and neat appearance so it doesn't look like a clinic in my den. I highly recommend this one.

For Those Who Like Deep Tissue Massage Action

Homedics Neck And Shoulder Massager

I bought this item as a substitute for a shiatsu chair pad (was almost 100 and outside my budget for what I was willing to pay) for my father. After reading some reviews talking about the bkk-100 being better, I tried finding it to no avail. I thought I was settling after giving up and buying this anyway. Boy oh boy, I don't know how great the Bkk-100 is vs. this, but it sure does some great deep tissue massage. I love how versatile it can be just by moving it up and down your back/neck accordingly. One or more persons complained about how the inner and outer nodules are different in sizing causing some odd massaging action. I, however, like the change in pressure it causes from going from the large to the small.

The small knob rotation gives this momentary break from the larger knob. Another positive to this product is the micro suede fabric cover. I own a lot of this type of fabric because it is, for the most part, stain resistant and easy to clean. In my humble opinion, this product is better than a 100+ dollar chair pad because its more mobile and it has a better ability to let you choose the specific spot you want massaged.

I Love This!

Homedics Shiatsu Neck Massager

My husband just purchased this for me. I am someone who suffers from chronic neck and shoulder pain, and I get a massage every two weeks. I was hesitant to purchase this item after reading these reviews, but one day I was hurting really bad, so he went out and bought it. I was not expecting too much based on other reviews, but I must say that I am impressed! I love it, and the best part is that it is inexpensive and it doesn't get tired! I will warn you that the shiatsu pressure can be too much for someone who is not used to massage. But the vibrating cushion massagers just don't do anything. My advice is to start out sitting up until you get used to it.

My pillow has two rollers that are even on both sides of the cushion, in reply to the earlier comment that one was different than the other, maybe yours is defective. There are two rollers on each side, one is stronger and the other lighter pressure. I have let my friends try it and now they want one too! I think I will buy for Christmas gifts! As for the rollers getting stuck in the material, I have been using mine very much, and have not had any problems. I would advise that you flip back the flap, and not use towels or anything else with it. Also, depending on the amount of pressure you use with it, you may be sore. This is normal after a deep tissue massage.
